Interesting. Seems kind of bullshit people can bail on those auctions so easily. No reserve is a risk you take on, no? This is like eBay in the year 2000. C&B website is out 4k+ and the buyer doesn't get their car. How does Pcars or Manheim handle these scenarios.

I only have partial data
When there were 232 still undelivered back in 1/25/2022, there were:
43 Brands Hatch Grey,
67 Frozen Brands Hatch Grey, and
121 Frozen Deep Green

I wasnt able to see the colors for those delvered before then, but would assume the percentage might be skewed if you account for all 400

Interesting, we should try and gather the data to get a estimate, 232 isn't bad, that's half the population. The Brands Hatch Grey (non frozen) seems to be the low production color, interesting.

You could give me any 1 of the 3 and I'd be happy.

Yeah but considering that anybody can get this color on any m5, and it’s not the “fully loaded” color, fewer people want the car, esp with markup… who pays markup for a car not fully loaded

Color choice has always been personal preference, if you see spending the money on frozen as "better", that's great, I have a frozen color on order too but I don't look down at the base color M5CS either.

Are the used cars just flips or do they have more miles than what is typically on a new car?

Most are flips; but I saw a few that had over 1000 miles; one at under 5000 miles for sale

Those cars have probably been beat down with someone trying everything they have seen on YouTube and then some and then throw them away and at a profit at that. Or maybe the owners just got the cars as some of the early deliveries and just did not like it for some reason. So they are selling after 1000+ miles.
