Mfest and some other goodies

Ive been MIA for a while working on other projects. I thought Mfest was a good time to get the car off the back burner and get some things done off my checklist.

I added performance seats, Ohlin coilovers, and some CF parts (diffuser, hood, mirror caps, lip, side splitters). I should add a thing or two this week before Bimmerfest. Eventually Ill get the last few things off my checklist, paint the parts I want VO, and do a thread for a completed project.

Thanks to PSMT (PitStopMotorTuning 818-937-9336) in Glendale/Burbank Ca, Scorpp, and Alex@alpine

Great Diffuser and sideskirts!, well done OP/Scorpp.

I do wonder why none of the diffuser designs fills the obvious underbody open spaces on the left and right in front of the exhaust tips. That's were any under pressure build up in the diffuser extension-middle is lost in the flow disrupting "chutes" formed by side and rear parts of the rear fender.

Nice, waiting for more pics!

looks sweet man! I'm looking into coilovers and I have two questions for you:

1. Are the Ohlins more comfortable of a ride compared to the KW V3?

2. Are the Ohlins overkill if driving is street/canyon? (no track)

1. I was told ride quality is much better. I personally had driven a car with Ohlins and loved it. Ive ridden in cars with V3 and I didnt like the ride that much. I commented in the ohlin thread in the vendor section.... I wish I had done them the 1st day I got the car. I can PM you what I was told about ohlins vs KW.

2. I went through the canyons on these and the diff is amazing and noticeable. The seats and suspension came in together so my assessment is based on both, I was much quicker through the twisties.

Thanks Dack... the quality and fitment is amazing. I was more than impressed when we unwrapped the pieces. Definitely better than I expected.

Beautiful cars/modifications. Saw this car at Mfest and I was very impressed with the quality parts and the quality of work was put into the car by both owner Papethova & PitStopMotorTuning!

Tips are CF Cyba F10 M5 tips. I dont like the 1 series CF Akra tips and they told me the non 1 series CF tips wouldnt fit. I just found out it has to do with the short exhaust and high temps. Those tips were installed and fitted for my old diffuser and I didnt get a chance to readjust for the new diffuser yet.

I have a thread here about the tips

Thanks M! Stance isnt final, this was done 330am just before a 5am departure for Mfest. After Bimmerfest its getting jacked up high again to clear the driveway and once thats repaved I will have everything finalized and corner weight balanced. I know you have a similar build, cant wait to see it. Great recommendation on the Ohlins
