It's not a $5865 cap reduction because he is paying for the 1st month of 1185 also. So its really a 5865-1185=$4680 cap reduction.

Tax seems to be 9%? Your calculator should be pretty close now.

These numbers are way too high for this car. I am paying less per month, with no cap cost, for a $104K M5.
Suggestion: wait a year. Just not worth paying north of $900 or so for this car. |

Crazy bad numbers.
You can get some pretty good deals on M5's now since they're getting killed in the comparo's. .

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Anyone who is paying that kind of money for an M3 is crazy in my opinion. My friends are getting quotes like 1160/month for a fully loaded 120k M5 with nothing down and taxes upfront. One of them is a 120k car, the other is a 80k car, yet their payment is the same. That should tell you something. Not only you are getting taxed big time on the 58% residual vs what we were used to in the M3s %61 and above but you are also getting ripped off on the 7-8k MSRP on top of the invoice. It's like getting ripped off twice. It makes no sense whatsoever. I am not paying MSRP myself as I have a good relationship with the dealer (except I will have to wait a month before I take delivery, which is fine), but even I am re-thinking my options at this point. The invoice on the M3 is 91.9% of the MSRP value, do the math yourself and make sure you factor in the 3-4% residual difference that will happen next year to 6 months.
M3 is a 800-900/month car. Not a penny more. I'm happy to pay 50-60 bucks more a month, but even that is a stretch. It's over 2 grand extra for the life of the lease and remember the first year teething problems that all of us will have to deal with. |

No MSDs? And no loyalty discount eh?
Crazy that you other guys are paying less for an M5 that cost $20k more. I just want an M4 much more than an M5 and need a car ASAP but yes I really wish the number were looking better

Get an M5! No doubt its a big fat over-bloated pig that needs a serious diet, but that's half the fun! And for a grand a month with 12K miles per year, was a no brainer for me. Hey, M4, see you in 3 years! |
