Battery Keeper advice
Hi,
I am using a battery keeper now as i only drive it weekends and it has been slow to start. Week 1 I removed the boot light and propped open the floor matt and kept the boot open all week. Anyone else using one - ideally I was thinking about setting up a perm connection that sits in the boot and then attach the wires, close the boot. Anyone see any danger here with gas build up - Anyone else using a battery keeper? I noted when you close the boot you get that electrical noise that indicates a shutdown so there must be something else besides the boot light that the system is monitoring. |

I have a trickle charger permanently set up via the boot. I just plug the car into the charger and close the boot. Whole system organised by Advan and works a treat. Otherwise the electrical system just drains the battery. On my 3rd battery since new.
