S65 rod bearing crank plan?
EAS has a great plan for working on the rod bearing, crank and such.
Anyone on the East Coast running something similar? Would love to get the stuff sorted like the bearing and rods clearance. |

If you're planning to do a full rebuild: I have two cranks pre-machined with proper clearance, and I can connect you with a shop back east to do the work for you.
If you're planning to do just bearings, then I know a shop back east who can do the work, and I can help you source either OEM or WPC treated OEM bearings. |

Hey regular guy, looks like there is a new fix on the market. I'm in NC these days. 70min from Raleigh. I know its nascar country and I hear great things about people building engines. Anyone who comes to mind that: can do the simple bearing/rod bolt change? not sure yet on the fence for a reliable track build? It all depends on $$$. Corey in NY/CT did my bearings a couple years ago.
Thanks! |
