This is worthless. If you want a ridiculously touchy throttle to please the butt dyno, just run in Sport+. The normal mode is perfectly linear and will be the mode any instructor will tell you to use.

Figure it could help? How exactly could it help? Think about the volume knob on a stereo. It's scaled 0-10. Someone says they can make your volume knob more sensitive. What's the point. It just takes less of a turn to get it to 10, but 10 is still 10. In other words, the amp in the stereo still makes exactly the same amount of sound. It won't get any louder than it was. Making your throttle more sensitive than the power button already makes it is absolutely pointless. 100% throttle makes the same amount of power regardless of how the pedal position is defined.

^ this exactly. In fact, if you ever plan on tracking the car stay id stay away from anything that makes the throttle more sensitive. I actually turned the Power button off during an HPDE to be more smooth. Im a total noob, but i cant image anyone wanting more sensitivity than what's already available.

One of the biggest points of buying an M car is the fact that they are famed for having great throttle response that you can also accurately modulate for all sorts of purposes, like balancing the car round a long fast bend, or adjusting the yaw of the car.
On that basis, why did you buy an M car if you want to achieve large throttle opening with minimum throttle pedal travel. Bit of an oxymoron. |
