19" Klassen M52-R w/ Yokohama AD08
Alright, the awesomeness of these wheels was the main reason for my hesitation to sell my M3 and order a 991 991 C2S, but here we go. I got these wheels and installed on 7/8/13 (I know...) with 14,039 miles on the odometer. I took them off the car on 9/4/13 at 14,950 miles. I basically drove with them to a photo shoot, two car meets, and a half a dozen trips to my office. Even with the limited time I had with this combo, I still must say it is awesome. The look is fantastic, but the combo with AD08 makes the grip unbelievable. I know they look a lot like BBS FI. For me, I wanted custom offsets as I felt BBS FI is too conservative and requires spacers. I wasn't interest in spending $12,000 on wheels and tires and having to run spacers. These are perfect. I have no rubbing or fit issues. I was about 3/4" lower at all four corners with KW Sleeve Kit. I'm guessing if you wanted to slam the car, I would switch to PSS as they aren't as wide as AD08. When I unboxed them, I immediately clayed them and sealed with Wolf's Hardbody Nano-sealant and always washed with Sonax Full-Effect Wheel cleaner. There are no scratches, nicks, curb marks, or imperfections. They are like new. I didn't have any time to do any aggressive driving or burnouts, so the tires are good. I will tell you I had a heck of a time getting the TPMS to sync. After about 15 resets, it finally worked. Price: $6,500 Shipped Specifications Klassen M52-R Forged Monoblocks Color: Gloss Gunmetal Front: 19" X 9" ET 17 Yokohama Neova AD08 255/35R19 Rear: 19" X 11" ET 25 Yokohama Neova AD08 295/30R19 2011 TPMS Include Hunter Road Force Balanced Comes black lugs. You can use OEM lugs, but I got lugs that are 10mm longer to be on the safe side due to the more aggressive offsets. I'm not sure of the weights as I had them shipped direct to me with tires already mounted and balanced, but I think they are around 20lbs. Here is a way to get a basically brand new set of wheels at a substantial discount to what you pay new. Here is what you are looking at to buy these new. They retail for about $1,800 a wheel, so $7,200. Then add in tires at around $1,350, mounting and balancing $100, TPMS $300, and shipping $250. So your at about $9,200 to get into a set of these (assuming you don't find a dealer that will discount). I understand this is a lot of money. Feel free to PM me, we can exchange phone numbers and chat. I've bought and sold a bunch of stuff on the forum. Thanks for looking, and I'm excited to see these in photos on someone's car. Matt Here are the two posts of my car with the wheels on. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ight=money2536 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=886154 Last edited by Money2536; 09-30-2013 at 01:11 PM.. |
