oem exhasut + ...

Hey guys I just did the oem exhaust mod and it sounds amazing, Now I think I want it louder. any suggestions on what to do to achieve that? I would not mind it a little louder but I need to stick with as least drone as I can achieve as I do lots of highway driving and am on the phone via bluetooth for business.

also thinking of changing to the MPE exhaust is it louder?

the akra I love but sounds way to quiet, i would not be able to tell the difference between akra and oem to be honest.

In your case...i would say, keep your Oem exhaust mod.
Louder it will get with test pipes, but will sound raspy and drone !
MPE and Akra sounds not louder than Oem exhaust mod,but Akra evolution is louder.
BTW...i have also the Oem. exhaust mod and will keep it forever and sounds now louder after 3-4,000 km...just perfect and 0 drone!
For me personal titanium and inconel sounds too hollow and is typical for these materials .
This video is Oem.exhaust mod.(replaced the 2 perf. pipe method) VS ///M Performance exhaust.
Judge by yourself and put your headphone on,and than you know what you have Hope this will help......

Keep oem mod as is. Only real way to make it louder is to start removing resonators/cats at which point the sound characteristic will change to extremely raspy.

I have done an AA high flow cat x-pipe with the oem mod silly loud full throttle but pretty quite and little to no drone on part throttle cursing. but yes as said test pipes would be the next best step if you wanted more sound

lol the OEM mod sounds a lot better than the MPE in that video. Is the MPE really that silent while idling?

And that's the reason why i have done the Oem.exhaust mod.

You have the oem mod and want it louder. But you are going to go with an akra slip on? That might be the quietest exhaust on the market...next to stock. This will not make you happy if you are going for volume.

ya i suppose your right the only reason I like the volume is that with the oem exhaust it does not drone. most other exhausts drone a lot with the kind of volume you get from the oem exhaust mod, the akra doesn't drone either so its tempting but i wish it were louder

If you are willing to spend Akra money on an axle back then I would highly recommend looking at an Arqray exhaust. Louder than oem mod with a much more refined/exotic tone and does not drone either. I have no idea why this exhaust is not more popular than it is.

You will be (your ears) going nuts inside your car,way too loud and raspy, and will drone like a mofo !
But i know sound is very personal, and Ezio ..i would think twice before doing this.... it's up to you man,and think also about your neighbors and don't forget the police

I came from very loud cars. In fact my car last one was louder.

I am more worried about voiding my warrnety more than anything else. touching 2nd cats kind of worries me.

Raspy yes. Drone? Absolutely zero.
My Supersprint Race drones like hell now between 1-2k rpm.
