ESS VT3 EAS Dyno: E40 With Water Only Injection

I hit the dyno a few weeks ago and wanted to run the car with distilled water only, no meth. For some reason on past VT3 dyno's while running an E85 mix the car didn't make any more power with 50/50 water/meth on, if anything it lost some power. So I decided to try distilled water only and I also installed a much smaller water nozzle, SP 225ML/Min. The first two runs are ~E40 (91/E85, mix 8 gallons of 91 and 5 gallons of E85) and the last four runs are with the water injection on. FWIW, it was 90 degrees in the dyno room.

Big thanks to Tom and Steve at EAS, they also changed my battery which was on the way out, i was lucky they had one in stock and they programmed/registered the battery as well.

Thanks Adam, I think that car will be at AA4. FWIW Greg's Ford GT beat me up pretty good at AA3 when the car was having issues, now with the new blower, etc. we ran again last weekend and it was pretty even!

Same as the vt2 kits, the Vortech v3.

A few weeks before the last airstrip event the main seal on the Vortech blower went out, a rebuilt one was sent out, turns out it had an issue as well, I had to have another one sent out after the event, all is good now.

Thanks man, the car made 700whp std in cooler weather. The main purpose of this dyno was to test it with water only.
