Question Perfect Height on ZCP's

Hey guys,

For all those on OEM ZCP wheels, what's the perfect height?

Currently on KWV3's- and actually think I'm TOO low. I think there needs to be a balance between looks/and performance.

Where is that balance?

Guy's post up pictures of your M's on coils- or springs rocking ZCP wheels please.

Thanks!

I've been told that 6" in the front rocker panel to the ground and 6 3/4" in at the rear rocker panel would be a good starting point. From there you can adjust for looks or driving style. Starting with that number then having the car corner balanced would set the track height based upon performance at the cost of asthetics.

On the E46 M3, a good rule was 13" Rear 13.5" front
That is from the center of the wheel to the fender.

Ah okay, I'm up in the Flagstaff/GC area. Hit me up if you're ever up here! We can carve some canyons through sedona and/or Jerome!

Forsure. I make that trip about once a year, but the M stays in the garage. Too much red rock dirt up there

This was a thread started a ways back, have since changed wheels and to KW Clubsport. FWIW I believe ride height suggested by KW in manual is a spot on guideline and should not be exceeded.

Was just bumping thread in light of missing ZCP wheels ...*sometimes*
