Turning DSC off Powers down car??

Had my car since Feb and had BMW PPK for 2 weeks now and loving it. Noticed a weird thing today.. I have 135i DCT N55.. On the freeway with Power button on the car pulls better, although when you depress the DSC button it also seems like you turn the power button off and yet it is still alight... Turn DSC back on and pull comes back... Im confused!! by turning the DCS off does it also reduce the power??

It has nothing to do with the power of your car

Does your sport mode button change?

Maybe you're getting wheelspin with DSC off so you don't feel like you're moving...

i have a stock 135i n55 dct, and turning off dsc just makes the car feel more powerfull because of added wheel spin at 60kph

with dsc off the computer just cuts off power where all the fun is supposed to be

While driving at 60 staying at 60, not accelerating nor decellerating in Sports mode on and turning DSC off then on and tell me if you notice the subtle difference in pull on the car!!
Hope it clears it up

Definitely no difference. Are you in Sydney? Come post in the aussie section of the forum and we can arrange a meet sometime and see what's going on.

I have the same specs with my car and I noticed the same thing. The sport button light stays on, but the throttle sensitivity is diminished when you switch to dtc or disable dsc. Though, I did notice that the gear changes do stay more aggressive with the sport mode on.

My SA told me this is normal when I took it in to get checked out.
