Technocraft Full Carbon Fiber Seats..amazing
http://www.racepartshop.com/brands/t...seat-2325.html
So, I was looking towards an aftermarket seat for the two front seats in my car as a way of classily removing weight and making my m3 more agressive. I stumbled on this 6.5lb seat. 6.5lbs...that is just amazing to me. The problem I have is that I have been reading a bit, and I'm worried it will make my car significantly less safe. The reason being I guess it disables the passenger airbag (even if you use the emulator from EAS) and i've heard horror stories about race seats and harnesses with no helmet and rollcage. So, anyone have any input on the safest way to install these seats? Would it be safest to use the stock seatbelt as well? How crucial are the front airbags on the passenger side? Does it disable the side-bags as well? Thanks for any input on this issue.

Personally, I would want to know who makes the seats for them and if they've passed any safety tests.
For coding issues regarding the installation of them, contact Mike Benvo. |

https://www.tillett.co.uk/car-racing-seat.asp HPF actually sells a rebranded version of the Technocraft T2 seat as well. The seat is extremely strong actually. They have a video of some girl beating it with a hammer and nothing happening to it at all.
