reflector fitment issue
Hi folks,
I'm having an issue with the fitment of the aftermarket clear reflectors I purchased from Ebay. I have heard people had fitment issues, but I wanted to go with the clear reflector over the painted. I tried to install the reflector yesterday. I manipulated gently for a while as the bumper gave as well and warped slightly as I adjusted. After much gentle pushing, the flector finally went in, but the top of the relflector became wedged under the paint into the hole (further in than it should be), and is stuck in this position. The bumper went in as well and is stuck in this warped position! I can tell because there is no more give to the bumper curve. I'm definitely mad at myself for doing this, but now I can't figure out how to get it off without taking the bumper off. I'm half thinking of somehow cracking the reflector to get it out, but I don't want to do any more damage. Worst case I will just take it to the dealer and suck up my pride. Any ideas would be appreciated. |

Pics? I would just try pushing in the bumper right underneath the reflector just like when you had to take the stock one off.

I did the same thing, push on the plastic around the bumper it will pop it back out. If you still can't get it just take a few screws out of the inside of the wheel well (8MM) and you can pull the plastic back and reach your hand in there to help reposition. Good luck
