Smile Found my next set of wheels

With previous vehicles I have always strived to get what I thought would visually set the car apart in a tasteful manner from others and look awesome to me on my own personal taste. This is obviously a very subjective topic.

In my search for an aftermarket wheel, there seems to be an obvious trend among M drivers... the all too common BBS LM. Nothing against that wheel at all, in fact, it is an awesome wheel. It's just that everyone and their brother and sister and cousin have this setup in one form or another it seems.

Well I found my next setup... Work Meister S1R 2 piece in matte bronze.

OR...

Work Gnosis in black shadow

Bear in mind that I drive a jet black e90 and I think they will really set this car off. Mostly when people think of a bronze wheel they think of a white car but these babies are daaaaaaark and that's what I like about them. Anyway just wanted to share.

Which do YOU like?

Agreed. They look much better on 350Zs and such, IMO.

I really wanna see pics if you have it on your car!

I'm thinking to buy this wheel for my MR M3, but with a matte gunmetal center and polished lip.

I haven't yet.. I need to get the exact offsets before I call. I will most likely keep the fronts a stock width so that I don't encounter any rubbing issues. The rears I may open up a bit and go 10 or 11 wide.

Generally speaking, a five spoke design usually does look very good on a Z, G or something of the like however I think these will pull it off along with a set of H&R springs.

I personally would have to agree with you I've been wanting to get a dark bronze wheel on my black 135 as well. I was pretty interested on what these would like on a black e90 so I did a rough little chop to help everyone visualize. I really like it, I think they suit the "chunky" body of the e90.

I think gunmetal would look better but why not be different and go bronze. You might want to repaint your grille and detail your front lip in bronze as well. THAT would be a success.

As a backup plan I could also live with these...

Gnosis GS2 in black shadow.

Well since you voted... I opened up a poll. lol

I like those wheels too but feel that the riveted 3 piece is a bit much for my taste. Maybe the rivets will blend a bit with a solid color like those black ones I posted I guess.
