California emissions and Z4M 49/50 state cars
Hi guys,
I've been talking to a couple sellers of Z4MC, one of which is selling a car that was originally sold to the 1st owner in CA. I found this related thread. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...rnia+emissions I was curious if anyone had an addition information since this thread. was the Z4M sold to 49 states, and CA exactly the same? Engine firmware, catalyst, etc? anyone have photos of the emissions sticker that is on the Z4M? |

All Z4 and Z4M sold in the US are identical.

thanks Finn. Yes, I've been watching the FS section. The car i'm looking at is a few states away (not currently in CA) but had the original owner and delivery dealership in CA. that's why i asked.

Thank you, that answered my question.
I am looking to import a z4 from Texas to california. I was worried about Ca emission certification, it looks like there shouldn't be any issues there. |

There shouldn't be any issue! I recently moved to CA from CT, shipped the MCoupe out here and had no problems with Smog/Emission (even with a few bolt-on mods).
