CD will not play...

...for a last two days temps here reach over eighty and when the Z4M (2008) worms up the CD player stops working.
I also noticed that the CD itself when ejected is hot.
Keep in mind, the radio still will work...
anyone had this problem?

Perhaps a stupid question, but is this the case with different CDs? (I'd had issues particular CDs that won't play or play intermittantly--usually it's a CD in sketchy shape, issue is fixed with a good/new CD.)
