HELP! Performance Steering Wheel Rev lights not working...

Hi...

I had the dealer install my BMW Performance Steering wheel Version 2 on my 2010 E92 M3.

Everything works perfectly except for the shift lights on the wheel. When I boot up the car, the led lights self test perfectly, but when I rev the car, the shift lights don't light up.

For an example, see this youtube video

Mine does not light up.

The dealer is telling me that this wheel is designed for a 335i and I do understand this, but I've seen it work on a M3 just like the video above.

Anyone have any hints on how to make it work so that the shift LED lights on the steering wheel function?

Thank you!!!

Chris

Perhaps a setting that you need to program.

Do some research on this forum. It's a very common problem. In short, don't wire the wheel for power out of the jb3 module as per the instructions. Go straight to the fuse box with a fuse that has constant power

hi

I have the same problem

in fact the wheel is reading the RPM 10 times less than real value

When you go into the Correction Factor settings, what does you steering wheel read when the car is idling? 500-600 or 50-60?

mine reads 50-60 so for the wheel to read 1k rpm, i need to rev it to 10k

I have the same problem,

Everything works perfectly except for the shift lights on the wheel. When I boot up the car, the led lights self test perfectly, but when I rev the car, the shift lights don't light up.

When I go to settings to change the rpm threshold the indicator that normally shows the current rpm it reads 0.

It just happen to me, used to be working

Any suggestion ?
