Brand Suggestions for Exterior Modification
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to do some modification to my M3 baby. Its a blue E93. And, as a new owner, I really dont know any good brands for those parts. Can someone please make some recommendation to me? I'd like to add front splitter, rear diffuser, and angel eye, perhaps speed eliminator too. Any one know anything good? I live in Seattle, Washington. Any suggestions would help. Thanks. Turtle |

Sure, if you look in this forum you'll come up with:
Brands Front Splitter / Rear Diffuser = Arkym, Vorsteiner, Challenge, 3D as some top choices. *There are also many many replicas, but be careful as the fitment / finish will not be as good and you might be unhappy. To each his own though. Angel Eyes = many many choices, but the going from low investment to high- GP Thunders, Angel iBright 4.0, OSS Speed Radar Detectors = Valentine 1 or ESCORT 9500ix, then there are also many options for Laser Shifters. I think that's what you mean by Speed Eliminators. There are many shops on this forum who can give you good prices on these parts. IND Distribution is a good place to start. They carry most of these products or can point you in the right direction. You might want to consider a suspension as well that gives the car a better stance and/or performance. KW, Ground Control, Bilstein, Eibach, H&R are all options. It will depend whether you want just Springs (keeping EDC) or full Coilovers. Good luck with the modding, once you start, you never stop! |

LOL i totally agree on what you're saying! feel like im already addicted to it now, although i've not even started yet!
thanks for your suggestions, they're AWESOME!!! i really appreciate that btw, when i said the speed eliminator, i actually meant the device that can get rid of the electronic speed limiter m3 has, which cuts off the fuel supply when it reaches the top speed |

There's no straight longer than Spokane in the Western US. If you're thinking about going faster than 155mph on US public roads... come on... that's just plain dumb. And if you ever take your car to Europe, you may find that nothing happens at 155mph anyway... |
