Alcantara Steering Wheel Trim

Just installed the OEM Alcantara steering wheel trim piece because my old rubberized one was revealing cheap shiny plastic underneath. Also, got in my ECS red stainless steel brake lines.

The alcantara trim did not fit 100%, i guess there must be a slight variation in the steering wheel shapes. I had to trim some of the tabs in the back but it ended up fitting nicely. The material feels really nice and looks much better than the oem.

I am gonna suede wrap the oem piece and keep that as a back up.

Thanks, Yes I have thought about swapping out the wood trim. Initially i wanted to swap it with the carbon leather, but the wood is starting to grow on me. I think it goes well with the red leather.

You think the wood is that ugly?

Not ugly, I think that it was a strange offering on these cars.... Just out of place

The Alcantara trim and the paddles are nice!

You should really take out that wood trim though. If it were the dark wood it would not be as bad. You should buy one of the carbon leather trim sets that I have for sale!
