Talking Complete Respray to M3 - reducing value?

Hi guys, will be moving up to my M3 in a few months time

Cant wait, I want to go for AW, but, unfortunatly for some reason, here in the UK, white coloured modern cars, are far more expensive than black, grey etc.

In a ideal world, I know a place not too far, that is a professional car respray shop, for a relatively hefty price tag to respray to AW.

They complete strip the car, spray it, inc door shuts, inner boot so everything and put it back together, so from a finish point of view, it will be sublime.

However, my question is that, will it devalue my car?, as I will have to tell the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency for you US chaps) about the color change, and it will state it on the V5 registration documents that there was a color change from/to etc.

But presuming the finish is immaculate, do you think it will devalue my car?

Thanks guys.
