Sonic MS - DCT Extended Paddlesq

Gents - received my paddles today. Very nice product and install took me 20minutes. Make sure you disconnect your battery since your removing the airbag from the wheel. My only complaint is that they dont match the brushed aluminum accents in the interior but that was a communication error between me and Cal at Sonic. I highly recommend these. The fitment and feel is perfect!

Looks great!

Sorry for the mixup. The OEM Matte Silver finish is the closest match to the OEM plastic DCT paddles. The plastic around the engine start button/idrive knob/etc is a more glossy silver finish unfortunately, but it matches close enough at first glance.

Which paddle finish did you get?
As far as I know, the brushed aluminum paddles were meant to match the brushed aluminum trim, which I see you dont have.
And the oem matte finish are supposed to match the oem paddles like cal said above. The other accents are just silver plastic.

How is the feel?

Correction. OEM DCT paddles are aluminum, not plastic.

Thanks for the clarification. It must be the finish, because it felt a lot like textured plastic to me.

It has a very heavy bead blast that makes it feel that way

Hey i have a perf steering wheels as well and my paddles are coming today. Quick questions, did you have to poke through the leather on the back of the steering wheel to get to the air bag release? I can feel the holes but they are covered up by the leather on the back?

The back of the wheel should have small slits where you put the screwdriver in.
