Lux for the WIN
After annoying hassle w the USPS and some tight spots in the headlight housing my Lux v3s are finally installed and do they look good! Extremely pleased with the results.
here are some before and after shots @ about 12:30

Thanks for posting up the pictures!!! its definitely a tight space in there so luckily they only need to get installed once. Also future tip for taking pictures - try and step back farther from the car it will look more accurate that way

Heh. I just installed mine in my LMB e90 this weekend. You seriously need hands the size of a 4 year-old to install these. I ended up using a reversed pair of needle nosed pliers to do the final tightening.
For the Lux guys, I'd suggest adding a tab or notch to make the tightening easier. The OEM bulbs have such a tab coming out so turning them is easy. The precision rounded machined bulb housing actually makes it harder to do the final tightening. Either way, excellent product. Great mod. Should have come from the factory this way. |
