Lux H8 V3 for 2011 M3

Has anyone been able to fit the Lux H8 V3 LED into the AE for a 2011 M3?

yes I did on my 2011 e90 m3 just two weeks ago. it's a tight fit. you have to drop the bulbs in backwards base first holding onto the bulb with the wire harness then when its below the light assembly hole guide the bulb portion in with your other hand.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought they were designed for the car so not sure why they wouldn't "fit"

It's difficult that's for sure but doable. Check the DIY section for a little more confidence.

All M3's and 3 series coupes share the exact same headlights. It's not a tight fit it fits the same in each 3 series. In fact the lux is the easiest to instal out of any angel eye upgrade. I would know I've had every single reputable set of angel eye bulbs in my car (and spent well over 1k on bulbs). Lux also is my personal choice.

for some reason the left one took my a while to get in, but the right one tool me less then one min. Best cosmetic mod out there.

They do fit you just need small hands. I had my wife help me install mine

Thanks everyone, I got them installed and they look great, my only issue is my big hands, and took me a while to get them turned into position.

well pics you can find so much on here. search under LUX. as for install its easy. just like replacing a bulb. that can be found also

I have a 2011, just got and installed Lux H8 and noticed flashing upon start up.

Anyone else experience this?

I purchased from Bimmian and contacted them about this and was told it was normal.

LED flicker upon start up is common since the car is doing a bulb outage system check. If it's constantly flickering after the initial startup, you may want to let them know.
