upgraded to the akra evo

I just upgraded from the axle back to the full system. I know I want to get rid of the cold start cycle because with just the axle back I get vibrations in the cabin. So...beyond the elimination of cold start, what, in your opinions are the benefits of with going with an ecu tune vs. purchasing a delete r? I've heard about the torque dip, but i don't care about stuff below 2500 anyways and am only interested in the sound and hp gain in the upper rpms.

Omg it's nuts isn't it. I get mAjor buzzing from everywhere inside. Feels like an earthquake rattling the car parked.

Torque dip drove me crazy in daily driving bc it's right where the motor sits most of the time in subtle driving. I'm really happy with my Evolve, I flashed back to stock the other day for kicks and can't believe how much better the car feels (linear throttle response/power) with the tune.

What is this dip everyone talks about? I really don't feel it. Maybe cuz I drive with power button on?

The car with the evo feels good and fast at every rpm

A tune will give you more than just the CEL turned off. If you're spending this kind of money, why not get the most you can out of things?

I never noticed it until I got a tune. Then, I realized that I was missing out on a decent amount of torque at 2500-3000 rpm. Showed up on a dyno and was removed when I got my tune.

I liked my evolve tune, but the ESS tune has proven to work as well. Giac doesn't sell an off the shelf cat delete tune.

My akra evo and evolve R tune are great. The car makes a huge amount of power compared to stock but I actually kind of miss the cold start, I like the noise.
