Fitting E92 M3 Exhaust to E90 M3
I've searched, and so far I've determined the tips are about 2 inches longer on the E92 exhaust and would stick out further on the E90.
I am looking for an OEM exhaust to perform the OEM exhaust mod on. Should I be avoiding the E92 exhausts which are more common? Is it possible to switch the tips from my exhaust to make it look the same? Thanks! |

You can just rivet new tips on.

I guess I'm curious if anyone has installed the E92 exhaust on an E90. Does it look funny?
Also, how hard is riveting exhaust tips? |

Yes, it will look funny, don't do it. As mentioned, if you rivet on the proper length tips, there will be no difference between the exhausts. Riveting is fairly easy, but you do need a drill to drill out the existing rivets and a rivet gun and rivets to install the new tips.
