Installed Eisenmann Race E90
UPDATE: After several thousand miles, the Eisenmann Race exhaust toned down alot. It no longer drones like it used to and the sound seems quieter. I am assuming that I am getting used to the exhaust sound level OR the exhaust collected alot of soot from the exhaust gas/engine causing it to dampen the sound. It's not loud anymore .... I think...
Also, does anyone else notice that after around 3000RPM the exhaust seems to quiet down and doesnt scream? ----------------------------- Just installed my new exhaust!! Here's just a quick video of a cold start and small revs up to 3K RPM. Recorded with my iphone and cropped to hide my plate which is why its so zoomed in... For the first couple of days, the Eisenmann droned like none other from start to 2.5k RPM. It was also very raspy and sounded metallicy after 2.5K RPM... I swear I was gonna get pulled over soon. I got annoyed but stuck with it after a couple of days. Afterwards, it started to quiet down and the sound became more rich and smooth. Majority of the drone disappeared but still comes up around 1.5K - 2K RPM. I don't know how long it takes for the exhaust to break in but I can't wait! Only drove about 100-200 miles on it. Hopefully I'll have some more videos up Enjoy Shoutouts to GTMotoring and IND for quick delivery and service!! I ordered on Monday and it arrived on Thursday

Great choice!
Depending on your driving style the Eisenmann should be fully broken in within 500-1k miles. You will notice a smell of the packing material in the exhaust being burned off during the break in period. After that the sound should be smooooth and intoxicating.

Nice exhaust! Great tone but it does have a healthy drone which isn't going to disappear. Hopefully you can adjust to it though.
Go easy on the pedal around cops...and pregnant women, children and small animals. |

Had mine about 7 months now. The drone is always going to be there but I just try to avoid sitting at 2k. Makes the car look a lot better as well as sound better. Enjoy. Not sure why the cops would worry you. It's fine over here.

We have to meet up sometime so I can hear this in person. I live just outside of Baltimore. Have been looking at the Eisenmann Race for my E90 as well. Let me know. I enjoy driving my M, so I can always head down towards you.
