I'm getting confused with all the options (Orion-Lite, Predator Orion V2, Multicolor Orion V2, Halogen) as I can't find a good description of what those are. What did you get?

Don't think they make anything for our cars, they do for E89 last I checked a few months back. There are old threads from back in 2006 or so with them making something for our car, some bulb but they discontinued it long ago.

Had their predator chromiums on my E36 and they were pretty good. Really cold weather they needed to heat up but worked fine.

Orion V2s. They are their brightest.

Orion Lites are generic AEs, they suck

Whatever you do, don't deal with Umshitza. They're notoriously shitty when it comes to customer-service. The owner Matt rips people left and right. Totally illegitimate business practices and stuff. It's ridiculous how they're still in business

I sent my lights off to Tekarbon for custom work. Others have had good luck with the Spyder lights on Ebay (non-HID).

It's my daily driver. So I can't really send off my headlights

As was mentioned earlier, Spyder is the only ones I've seen though they are sold under different names from various vendors. I've been tempted to try the HID black housing ones, but haven't ordered any yet. I want to see if I can bake them open to customize them, unlike the OEM lights. If you search for the following part #'s you'll find different places selling them. From my understanding there is some custom wiring involved even though they say "plug and play", the angel eyes and LED lights have to be wired in/tapped in to get them to work.

For HID black housing: PRO-YD-BMWZ403-HID-BK

For HID chrome housing: PRO-YD-BMWZ403-HID-C

For Halogen black: PRO-YD-BMWZ403-HL-BK

For Halogen chrome: PRO-YD-BMWZ403-HL-C

If you have extra cash you don't know what to do with, you could buy new headlights and send those out, then when they come back sell your old headlights here

I'd have to agree with you unfortunately. I had a very bad experience buying from them over 5 years ago and I still remember it till this day. It's too bad cause if they handled things better I would have bought from them again.

I despise companies with bad customer service/attitude. Too ridiculous in this kind of economy, and in this kind of specialties market

There's an idea. How much are new headlights? I wonder if Tekcarbon would get a set, fix them up and then send them out to the buyer. All pre-paid, of course. I'd rather do that than take my lights out, ship them out and wait for them to come back. Not because my Z is a DD, but because of impatience... Plus, I'd have a hard time explaining to my wife why Z is apart. lol...

New headlights are 1k each for bi-xenon, 500 for regular. You could buy them online and have them shipped directly to tekarbon.
