Ouch. Looks like one of those projects where I would have extra parts when I put it back together. I hate it when that happens.

It's not hard at all if you know what to do...send me a pm and I'll help you out. You can remove and install the center console/dash on 30 minutes

LOL +1

I am actually a very mechanically inclined person and have no trouble doing brake jobs, installing cold air intakes, and even installing springs, shocks and coil overs but when it comes to disassembling interior parts I'm always breaking tabs off and when it comes time to put it all back together theres alwasy one piece thats just a b!tch to get right. Painting or wrapping would be a perfect winter project and a great "update" but I'm too affraid to tackle it on my own.

BTW both the painted and the dry carbon wrapped looks amazing, great job guys.

Gotta take the airbag off to get at them. If you look closely at the pic I posted, my tabs have the same wrap as the dash.

Thanks, looks nice...removing airbag sounds like more of a chore than I want to take on.

Its not bad at all, I just did it a couple of weeks ago when I swapped out my stock wheel for an M wheel.

Check out the M steering wheel DIY for pics and directions - stick a screw driver down into each hole just behind the wheel, push the spring tabs in and the airbag comes off. The trim comes off the wheel with a few torx screws.

After reading this thread, I'm going to wrap my dash pieces (due to knicks and scratches) in CF silver.

Now just trying to decide which material to use ..... leaning towards 3M Di-Noc right now
