LED (Anyone?)
I am wanting to put some LED fog lights on my car, but I only want hyper white, good quality... I see several cars with the weak ass ones and they just look cheap. Anyone here have any experience with this or any advise?
see example here http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-LED-DRL-Eu...sories&vxp=mtr

Its kinda like putting a cheap LED strip on the front of the car ... The real LED fog lights in strip-form use 3W or better LEDs with glass enclosures that serve as mini-projectors, resulting in an actual beam pattern, but I haven't seen any after-markets available ...... you might try looking for OEM Mercedes fogs that are similar?? |

No idea how they mount, but connecting them shouldn't be that big of a deal. I bet they're pricey though!!! |

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I'm not a fan of led's all over the car. I think the lights have almost gotten out of hand. Some of the newer cars from porsche, mercedes, audi have too many things lighting up for my taste.
When the audi R8/A5 came out with the led strip it looked awesome because it hadn't been done before and was subtle. Now it seems like manufacturers try to fit as many led's as they can on the front of each vehicle. |
