Alternatives to M3 performance exhaust

Any recommendations on the best comparably priced and noisy aftermarket pipes that actually provide a hp boost?

I\'ll be selling my spanking new OEM pipes when my new e90 arrives in 2 weeks. Pm me if interested.

OEM exhaust mod sounds the same as performance for 300 bucks of mods compared to 4k plus. You decide

Depending upon what you want it may even sound better. The OEM exhaust mod is one of the best. IMHO.

Sound is subjective... There are a million different exhausts for this car you choose one. I believe one of the best is still the oem exhaust mod

OEM Exhaust mod FTW! Best mod on my car by far! I like this exhaust better then anything aftermarket I have heard.

Cost me 250 all together.

Ok good info thanks. But if I wanted more hp what system will give me the most power for about $4k? I love to do the Akrapovich Evo but too spendy.

Just listened to the sound on youtube. Sounds great but I'm looking for something that sounds like my mate's Porsche GT2

You'll get more opinions than you bargain for. As someone stated, sound is subjective. If you had ask which gives the biggest HP gain then you could see some graphs and charts to validate what you read. When you hear the exhaust for you, you'll know it.........Phil

If it's a democracy

I'd vote Eisenmann race.

When I shopped for an exhaust, I only cared about sound.

I'll never lie down under the car to stare at it and I don't give a crap if it's stainless or Ti. Exhaust systems are to be heard and not seen.

Great so now I just need to decide between Eisenmann Race pipes or a GT 2! Think I'll visit EAS and get their recommendations unless anyone else thinks I should go somewhere else In SoCal. Thanks.

Going with the new AE performance exhaust rear section with Matt black ceramic powder coated tips. Anyone had these installed? Interested in your experiences on power gained/ interior/exterior sounds/video?

I have to disagree. The type of material used drastically changes the tone imo. The use of Ti is not only for looks and showing off. Its for lightness as well as sound. I have an akra and the sound is so smooth and not as grunty as a stainless system.
