FabSpeed X Pipe + Vanguard Ti or...

Guys,

Bit of a dilemma here. I've got a bone stock E90 w/stock exhaust. I've been strongly considering getting the Vanguard Ti (considering no drone + reasonable price) however having seen some of the vids online..I'm unsure if the best sounding ones are simply the exhaust by itself or with Fabspeed?

Does FabSpeed+Vanguard Ti cause drone or is it too loud?

I don't want an exhaust that wakes up the whole neighborhood under low rpms but at the same time-I want to have the perfect system that compliments the engine with no drone at 2-3k rpm.

or..is Vanguard Ti good by itself?

Thank you

Don't think I've seen that one before. Sounds really clean, I guess that's my way of putting it, but it does sound pretty incredible

Vanguard itself is about perfect and no drone. However, if you put any catless xpipe to pair with the Vanguard, it will become super loud and drone a bit.

So its best that I stick with the exhaust by itself. Thanks

From the video posted above, it really doesn't sound that loud with the x-pipe. It also doesn't sound very good, IMO.

I'll let you know. As I write this, I'm working on getting an middle exhaust to add to my Vanguard. I think you are going to have significant drone and obviously more volume when with a catless or high flow cat mid-pipe.

The concern I have about the Vanguard is it does have a tendency to sound a little "metally" or raspy. I think it has to do with how thin and light the titanium is. I've decided to go catless and am interested in getting the Dinan version as it has four resonators versus others like AA or Challenge with only two. I'm getting the middle exhaust for power and am not too concerned about how loud it will be.

Here is my video I made 2 weeks ago with stock middle exhaust.

Thank you...looking forward to it. I want to be educated about this exhaust before I drop the dough.

I'd be interested to hear this as well. I'm currently looking for an AA X-Pipe with HFCs to pair with my Vanguard, but I'm thinking that the Dinan might be quieter with the 4 resonators...
