OEM Exhaust recorded from back bumper

If only it sounded like this INSIDE the car.

Stock OEM 2011 E92, running 98 octane fuel. GOPRO on the back bumper.

I was shocked at how good it sounds.

You only need the ID code in the link to embed videos properly.

BTW I've taken more than a few rear bumper videos and I'll agree with you. Sounds just as good as most aftermarket exhausts when you get on it, or you go beyond certain RPM. It's only the idle and low-rev that are too quiet.

That, and the huge box doesn't look good

Ha ha! Busted!!

A good friend of mine and I have run Drivers Edge events for the past few years. He flew back to Houston last weekend for the MSR-Houston DE. Unfortunately I had to rearrange my schedule to run that event so I won't be able to go out with M-club next weekend.

To redeem myself I did try to spread the M-club word to a bunch of guys from the area.

True, but THAT sound is still there. As long as I know it's there and sounds like that I'm fine. I'm listening to the engine anyway. Someone said the 2011's exhaust is louder and that video does nothing to dispel that.

I've always thought the oem exhaust sounded amazing. Just wasn't loud enough for me...

I was really shocked when I heard the video. My original plan was to use the sound from the Gopro on the bumper with the video from the iPhone - but my iPhone somehow got goofed up and Harry's Lap Timer didn't record full laps. Maybe because my in car phone rang on the back straight

I wish I could... but have to work. Good thing too - since my stock pads have about taken all the abuse they can handle. Good thing Richard @ M-World has some Stoptechs coming my way...
