Challenge has been working on this for a little while now. They are currently in the final production process and should have units ready to go very shortly. Heard the exhaust in person when we preparing vehicles for shipment to Bimmerfest and it is a very nice tone.

by the video it kinda reminds me of the Eisenmann sound. But it's hard to tell from youtube.

from what i remember this wil be priced cheaper then the akra, a decent amount cheaper

A working system was on Challenge's E92 M3 @ Bimmerfest '11, I really like the exhaust tone of this exhaust.

I was just drooling over this at the EAS website!!!!

They have a full race catless x-pipe for $1500 and you can add resonators or hi-flow cats for more money. Unless the rear section is really expensive, this should be less than an akra.

+1 i dont see how this can go into akra territory for the price with the xpipe only being 1500. i wanna see some dyno runs

Were estimating the final MSRP to be $1895 range right now for the axelback. The system was tested a long time to make sure it doesnt drone and keeps the clean sound of the M3 v8. Challenge dealers should see them a little after new years.

when you say "no drone", do you mean a rear and mid section set up? or just the rear? I have a feeling a lot of people will be painting those cans..

I like the sound of it in the videos. I'll be curious to see someone post a comparison on noise levels to some of the other exhausts. For $1895, I would think seriously about it.

I have an idea? Instead of introducing yet another exhaust into the highly saturated market, why don't they re-introduce the Race Diffuser that has been MIA for over 6 months. Challenge are you listening?
