This car sure grabs a lot of attention... wife was surprised at how many people took camera phone pics while driving and all of the "thumb up" responses we received today driving around SoCal.

he was also right when he said it is a brilliant, brilliant car and there is nothing more to say about it

after three weeks of driving the car i must say it is everything they said and maybe even more - now if we just had the sunny weather like on your picture for some more time - we already had some snow - and i hate to have to put the car in the garage when they start using salt on the streets

That's Princess Buttercup and she's actually a Coton de Tulear with a bad hair cut at the moment.

I got my car from Center BMW in Sherman Oaks... awesome to work with as I purchased my first BMW.

Last Friday a van lined up next to my VO 1M at the traffic-lights, honked and opened his window: a fortysomething with his teenager son:

(I didn't want to bother them with the "1M"/"M1" confusion - perfectly logical that people call it "M1").

You will also experience the "1M magnet phenomenon": some fast cars unexpectedly slowing down when nearing you and subsequently gluing to the rear and/or front for half a minute or so, before dashing off. Obviously not to check whether there are cops on board of the 1M.
