Resonator delete?

hey guys i have a RPI GTM axleback that i would like to have it a bit louder. i have stock oem front pipes and was going to go have my resonators removed... any thoughts?

ya, it'll get more raspy for sure if you take them out. If you're not looking for rasp, I'd delete the cats.

probably. I ran a catless MXP pipe with 4 resonators without rasp. Now I'm catless w/out resonators and I have more rasp than I know what to do with I'm guessing there might still be some rasp without cats and just a pair of resonators on the OEM pipe– can't say for sure though

i have the challenge sport so i have no primary cats, hfc secondaries and resonators and there is some rasp but not too bad. i like.

DO NOT DELETE THE RESONATOR... TAKE THE CATS OUT.. YOU WILL NOT GAIN ANYTHING ON REMOVING THE RESONATOR... the only thing you will gain is a RASP....

I have active x-pipe with no cats with oem exhaust right now. (waiting for the muffers soon)

It is very raspy and loud when you get on it. (sounds like a dirt bike) If you're just cruising then its fine.

ugh... im having the biggest trouble deciding to have a resonator or none on my xpipe

resonator tone down sound along with helping drone/rasp or just rasp?
