I Freaking Love This Car!

just figured i would say... I LOVE THIS CAR. Puts a smile on my face every time i drive it. I knew it was going to rain two days after washing and two coats of wax and i still couldn't resist taking it on the short ride to the gym!!

List of cars ive owned in order, (im 22, but very good at negotiating a deal)
2003 Altima 3.5
2005 Mitsubishi Evo VIII
2008 Mercedes c300
2007 BMW 3.0Si
2006 BMW M
(all new minus the two BMWs which i bought used, and the Altima which was handed down)
Nothing ive owned has brought me as much joy, not even the Evo. When i see other BMWs ill always be able to think to myself, "but mines a better drivers car". At the end of the day other cars offer more speed, power, and luxury. But, the way this car does it just amazes me! I plan on keeping this car for as long as i am able.

Yeah even though I just got mine about three months ago, it has already ruined a lot of other cars for me. I travel a lot for work and rent a lot of cars, and before I used to be like "oh that car was kinda cool..or I'd buy that if I needed a bigger car, etc." but now every other car I drive sucks and I can't wait to get back home to drive my coupe again!

Downside of owning this car is not knowing how it looks and sounds from the outside when one is driving it.

The very thought of my Z4 makes me happy - from the inside!
I've observed that I've started to manufacture excuses to go for a drive, I no longer drive because I need to, I drive because I want to, maybe that is why they call the BMWs ultimate driving machines!

And as esqu1re just pointed out - its a shame that we never see the car from the outside, when driving it.

I let my wife drive the roadster across town and back to a family event the other night with my son aboard, while I followed behind in the Accord. I have to say, the Z4 looks mighty fine cruising along, gleaming in the late afternoon sunshine!

I think that could be why I love seeing rolling shots so much.

I tried to sell mine twice to buy a p car. I failed.

But I retained something pretty exclusive and saved money at the same time

times a gizzilion. I am so jealous of seeing when people break their necks to turn around and see what's coming from behind. I wanna be that guy for a day (Can't be staged, has to be a natural event for to enjoy it)

That's what made me want mine... Until I bought mine I had only ever seen 2 coupes in real life...

One was driving next to me.. black M...

and then MONTHS later, I saw a white one zoom by in the opposite direction...

"Yup, that's the car I want"

I don't drive the M Coupe on rainy days, but I make a point to walk by her and touch her ass on the way out of the garage.

I let my gf drive the coupe from emeryville to sacramento one time while i was following in my 330ci.

It's such a great looking car from behind and side. I must say I was a bit jealous at all the guys checking her out while I was following.

My face was literally like this the whole time...

That was the longest 1.5hours ever!!!

Her comment after the drive: best car i've ever driven

I traded in my 2003 3.5 Altima(purchased new) for my CPO 2006 3.0i Z4 roadster and I traded my 1989 Mustang GT(purchased new) for the Altima, both were great cars but can't compare to this car. It is my daily driver and I can't wait to get into it every morning and after work, it makes my commute great and I don't mind traffic so much because it means more time in the Z!
