BMW Mpower experience 2011

I have been invited to drive a new M5 on the Ascari race track in Spain in November by BMW. Is anyone here going?

How'd you get that, I heard you had to have put a deposit down and find your own way there.

I do have to find my own way there...but I have FF points and I have never been to Spain so this sounds like a nice excuse

Just heard about this too - friend got invited.... would love to go - but I'm booked into Mr Hefner's Mansion at the end of this month

I was invited too and I don't have a deposit down on the New M5.

I have attended M School and the letter was sent to me from the Performance Delivery Center.

My letter stated I would need to pay $2,200 (if I recall correctly), get to Spain and they would take care of the rest for the 2 day adventure. Hotel, meals, helicopter to the Track and a full day (1 day) at the track. Didn't say it, but I assumed there would be some PR folks there with cameras.

Sounded really exciting and my Wife was encouraging me to go but with 4 kids entering college, money is tight right now.

If somebody goes, please post!
