In need of 1qt of 10w-60 oil

Hi guys, I drove from SF to Fresno today for my cousin's b-day. +1qt message came on when I got to Fresno. Dealer service dpt was closed already. Anyone know where I can get a quart. Also if any member in the area has an extra bottle I will pay good money for it. thanks

You can top it off with 15w50 or 10w40 or whatever synthetic oil you find that has the closest oil weight to the 10w60. It shouldn't be a problem as you still have another 8 quarts of 10w60 inside the engine.

thanks for the reply guys. appreciate it. autozone and walmart carry only 10w-40. I guess it's either that or drive back tomorrow morning after the dealer opens.

Make sure you buy an extra bottle and keep it in the trunk so you don't run into these situations. Good luck!

fluid can be mixed as soon as they are the same category. I alway mix 20w60 with 10w40 during summer.
