E46 M3 Steering Wheel in a Z4
Hi all, was wondering if anyone knows if an OEM E46 will work in a 2005 Z4? BMW part number 32-34-2-282-020 is the one I'm looking at. Much better wheel than what is in my standard non-M Z4. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, dave |

That's a great question...considering the E85/E86 share a lot of parts from the E46 parts bin, I'd be tempted to say yes, but I've never tried.
Hopefully someone here can chime in... Chris

Nothing beats the Z4M steering wheel. Tischer is selling it with the trims for like $500.

Tischer is $575 plus shipping, plus duty to Canada, so it works out to be close to $700 by the time it gets to the door. I've found an E46 M3 wheel in good condition that I can have for $350, so if it works that's going to be my route for now. Anyone try this yet, love to know yes or no if it works. Thanks,

I think I read somewhere of someone doing the swap, but I have no idea where to find it.
