Choosing tint brand

Going for 20 or 30% tint, more fore looks (want a black hue, not any of those crazy chrome, colored, etc), but also to keep the car cool in this ridiculous 100 degree weather.

Was referred by my dealership to a shop around this area, they work with Global, Johnson and 3M. He said 3M was more expensive and the one he carries is a lighter film that gets some shades of blue depending on how the light hits it so I'd probably not want it. Guy recommended Global, says they come as dark as 10% and as light as 50% in increments of 10. So thinking about 30%.

Quote was $185. Has lifetime warranty nationwide (any installer can do it, manufacturer covers all costs).

Just wanted to hear your insights as far as this brand goes...

Thanks

As long as a it's a ceramic based black tint...I wouldn't be picky if you like the price.

Garage List
FormulaOne by Llumar in the Pinnacle line in my honest opinion is the best tint that money can buy. I would never use anything else.

No I haven't heard about that brand from any of the shops I called. Starting to think that if I get picky with brands where I'm at I'm never gonna find anything..

My 135 is AW..

Huper Optik.
Best tint on the market.
30% Ceramic.
Unfortunately, it is expensive: But you get what you pay for.
I have called all the tint shops in my area- consensus is that Huper is the best tint on the planet, however they all ALSO said that the quality of HO is NOT required for good tint on an automobile, that it is used mostly for homes in hot states to keep electricity bill low with heat absorption.
The MOST reccommended tint I have been referred to is the F1 by Llumar as stated above, again- a second to Huper Optik, but probably much cheaper and difference may be negligable on an automobile.
