Hardtop Defroster Connections

I've searched but couldn't find this one piece of info.

When installing a hardtop on the Z4, what is the process for connecting the deftroster?

Is it something like:
1. Install top and tighten latches
2. Remove subwoofer cover on driver's side of car (left hand drive)
3. Fish defroster cable down from above into area near subwoofer
4. Connect defroster cable to black connector near subwoofer
5. Install subwoofer cover
