Rare endangered panda interior
Got sick of the wood and plastic looking brushed alum look of the interior and decided to do a CF wrap. My first time using this stuff, took a couple tries to get it right may have to redo one or two pieces down the road, but i love the way it came out.
this is the stock interior |

Nice look....not much for the white CF (maybe a different shade of silver?), but the other items look awesome.
Makes the car interior look much more aggressive!

I love it so far, the white adds depth and some contrast, makes it look more like a sports car. although the extreme shape of the handles presented some problems i'm going to have to find a better adhesive to prevent the stuff from coming up.
on a diff topic and completely strange, when i got the car both windows where one touch down but only the driver was up, after i first re-installed all the trim(did not disconnect the window buttons at all) only the passenger side was one touch up. go out to the car the next day both windows are one touch up and have been that way since. |

Why do your seat bolsters look cooler than mine? Is it non-m bolsters or extended leather bolsters?? I'm a little envious of your bolsters now that I noticed them!
Regarding the windows, I forget what I did one day - I don't know if I disconnected my battery or what but my first drive in the car neither of my windows had working one touch feature. I was slightly ticked but before I knew it they were working normally again. Actually just came across roffle's thread today about how the windows have some sort of memory/resettable feature to them.. Perhaps it had something to do with what we experienced. How difficult was the all the trim and steering wheel trim removal? Did you find instructions or try to figure it out yourself without breaking anything?

I did mine in the Dark Titanium silver a few years ago and love it.
Although I too, could do without the white CF....it got me thinking that using a flat dark grey vinyl or paint on those white areas might look sweet and OEM sporty ? |

I had instructions for the dash and center consol, well kind of anyway they are the Italian one floating around, they work ok but there are a couple spots where you have to wing it. the steering wheel trim is fairly easy there is a screw at the back of the trim i believe t15 take that out then take the back off first! door handles all you have to do is give the pin a good bang with a punch and a hammer. also if you do do this harbor freight has a great trim removal kit its a cheap blue plastic set, perfect because the tool gives before your trim its like $5 too |

I only know of two kinds of seats for the Z4, the regular seats with the adjustable headrests and the M Sport seats with the bolsters and adjustable leg thingys. (with differing cover material depending on trim level)

See how the bolster has lines stitched in? It's all one solid piece of leather in the m. Well at least mine anyway... Interesting. Still curious if anyone has a definitive answer. Maybe its a 3.0si thing..

Not feeling the white carbon (sorry) but the rest looks nice, tho it might be too much of CF, dunno.
I have the "carbon" leather in my car + extended leather pack and I'm thinking about letting my door handle the the upper dashboard to be wrapped in leather, not sure yet... |
