Show me your boost gauges

as per title. So far I'm interested in the leatherZ option, but I'd need it with boost, wideband, and some sort of temp gauge I think. I don't wanna spend as much money as Bdubb did, heh, I just need something basic and oem looking

Thanks!

at $275, I think its a great gauge pod

tom the leather Z pod is a REAL nice option.....
for me the interior is something that needs to be done properly, i did blow the budget alittle with that setup but i think it was worth it......
The stack professional digital step gauges are just awesome and very easy to read also... either way ocha's setup look good also, but for a reasonably priced setup id have to go with the leather Z item....just use good quality gauges.

i went for boost, Wideband AFR, Oil pressure....

i did want water temp but i really didnt want to cut my stock water hose to fit a t-piece for the sender, i also believe water temp can be read from the hidden Obc readings....

The problem with the LeatherZ is availability.
I inquired on two occasions and to my knowledge they still have never done another production run.

I really like the look of the ashtray pods, but I'd rather there was a way to get them up in line of site. (w/o resorting to an A-pillar setup)

You took the words right out of my mouth... the leather Z guy just seems lazy imo..... he's got a great product and a great price(im not to keen on the gauges he uses with those ancient sender units that are HUGE!!+ the vdo gauges are just weak, this is easily solved... just use your own gauges)

i contacted leather Z and was told the product would be available for a minimum of 6 months????

sheesh, I was really looking forward to the leatherz pod. I might just flop down for the REV app and hardware, since it'll do the datalogging I need

how accurate will this be with the ESS kits alpha n software and numerous sensors it uses to run the motor??? tbh.... the only one i think thats REALLY important is wideband AFR....

Rabbit uses the HPF mikey mouse hat pod that looks GREAT imo, i like the Aem gauges also, they seem good quality and fairly priced...
imo id order the 3d design pod... and just get a middle range gauge.... check out this clip of my gauges.

note what ive done for oil pressure, moved the stock low pressure light sensor to the rear port and used the front por for my new sensor.....
let me know if you want me to get this piece i can get it realy cheap and mail it over for you..... it looks oem, i light the section in the clip by the oil filter housing to see the t-piece and sensor used by my stack oil pressure

once i hit Full boost (8psi in my case) ive set the gauge to illuminate RED, so i know ive hit my full value....... peak recall for hi and low values can be seen at the press of a button.

Yeah.... it's a great idea...... but

I guess I'm a little too 'ole school' for that setup.
There's just something sexy about a grouping of functional gauges in a car like ours.

Price point is a touch higher than the LeatherZ, but the 3D Design piece never has a lead time of more than 2 weeks. Plus 3D Design sells adapters for Water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure (Type G34 and H).

this option is soooo neat, very pleased with my 3d design setup....... the look is imo about as perfect as i could be, so oem looking......
They are designed with the stack units and really look class with the bezel design mated to the stack units, they will however work with any 52mm setup.....

the only problem is now i look constantly @ the gauges and not the road!!! lol
