135i full brake Kit and Hawk Race pads
135i front brembo brake kit. would be a great conversion for a 128i. Brakes have 23k miles pads have a little less than that all have plenty of ware left in them. $700 installed for a Local sale. I'll do $600 + shipping for non local sale. I also have 2 sets of hawk race pads for the front I'm selling separate. DTC-70s. One set has about 50% left for $150 the other has about 75% left for $175. brand new there around $269 from Bimmerworld. arguably the best race pads available for the 135i Last edited by BMWeber; 06-24-2011 at 06:34 AM.. |

it has come to my attention that the rear brakes are not a simple swap over. so I'll sell the front brakes with rotors bracket and pads for $600 OBO. and as far as the racing pads go I'll be only selling the fronts. $150 for the more warn set and $175 for the newer set.

How many track days were you getting out of a set of DTC's?

Would brake balance suffer by only upgrading the front brakes, and leaving the rears stock?
Or would it be ok?

Car needs to be reprogrammed. Drawn05 got the BMW Perf front kit on his 125i and had to go to a dealer to have the bias adjusted. Don't get your hopes up though - I want these.

all yours mate, no worries.
i've been keeping an eye out for a brake upgrade, the 125 brakes are not strong enough for my liking. Just interested to know how it would pan out. Are these the stock 135'er brakes, or the bembro upgrade?

The stock 135i brakes are Brembos. I think they are the same as BMW Performance kit - except for drilled rotors and yellow paint. I'm not sure how to get a dealer to adjust brake bias though - if they see 135i kit on instead of Performance kit they might argue against me despite it being essentially the same. |

dunno if possible, maybe get some of the performance rotors from getbmwparts.com, and have the seller send the calipers to getbmwparts, for them to send the whole lot? Shops seem to have better freight rates? Also the performance rotors are much better than the stock right?
