Went to MPact East Today

Fun show in Baltimore, in a large parking lot by the M&T Bank Stadium. About 200-300 cars, mostly BMWs with a few Lambos, Ferraris, and a Lotus Evora. Plus a Nissan GT-R, which was VERY sweet.

There were M3s in just about every color combo, and every year imaginable. The place was SWARMING with them.

I only saw about 5 1'ers (all 135's, I think), including mine. Mine was the only vert. But one of the 1'ers was a brand-spankin' new VO 1M. Let me just say, IMHO, anyone who orders a 1M in any other color should have his head examined. That thing was f'in GORGEOUS. The VO just shows off the car beautifully. The shading in bright sunlight is awesome. And the matching stitching on the seats is pretty cool.

Also saw a silver 1'er with a unique custom stripe (see the pics). Not sure I'd do it to my car, but it was nice. Really gave the car some personality.

All-in-all a fun show.

Yeah I wouldnt do it either, but its definitely unique. I think they did the width of each color stripe too thick. I think a thinner stripe would look better.

I didn't take any other pics! I was gonna snap the VO 1M, but what's the point? There are already plenty of pics on the net.

I wanted to go to this in the worst way, unfortunately plans for me didn't work out thanks to some unexpected out of town visitors ruining things for me.

Hey, it was great meeting you! I spied my P following the drool worthy stanced AND functional e46 m3. That thing was one of my favorites from the show! Here are a couple of my pics:

The rainbow stripe on the door is going to make most people think you're advertising being gay (not that there's anything wrong with that, as Seinfeld would say).
