M-Sport Package

For those of you that ordered the M-Sports Package, are you happy with it? Is it everything that you expected, etc?

I am getting ready to start shopping for a new 135 and was wondering what the general consensus is, to order or to not.

Do it.

If not, then at least get the Sport Package (if thats still an option). Its a great price for what you get. I did it for the raised speed limiter and the shadowline trim. I hate chrome trim on cars.

I really like the M-Sport Package. Everything it adds really compliments the car nicely.

Do be prepared for people to ask you: "Nice car, wait...is this the M1?!" because you will get a lot of that.

Yeah, thats what Im afraid of now that the 1M is coming out. All the haters ripping on my car because of the ///M badges all over it. Haven't had it happen yet though.

There is an ///M badge on the exterior of the car?

Other than on my stock wheels, no. But there are a bunch inside (doorsills, shifter, steering wheel). I would never put the ///M badge on my trunk lid.

No exterior ///M badges on the exterior of the car. The wheels have tiny badges near the center, as does the steering wheel, and the shift knob. The door sills have the M-logo as well. Oh, yes, the dead pedal has a logo, too. All of this would fly over the head of most people. Only observant BMW fans would notice, and therefore, they would understand.

It's not like you added pretentious stuff on your own. Not at all.

I love the M-steering wheel, and the anthracite headliner. Since I have a black/Terra interior, the anthracite headliner works really well. My interior would look odd with a gray headliner.

The M-sport option is kinda pricey, but I do not regret getting it.

Hope this helps.

Just be sure that the fit of the seats works for you.

I went with just the Sport (not M-Sport) because:

- M-Sport is basically Sport + a body kit + steering wheel

- M-Sport costs more

- As much as that M-Sport steering wheel looks and feels really nice, it removes the "heated steering wheel" from the cold weather package I figured I'd rather sacrifice the wheel for the heating, and the regular wheel is still nice. I really hate winter. And hey, if I hate it, I can always swap it out.

Not really all the 135s come with the body kit. The M sport adds different wheels and the anthracite headliner for just a few bucks more. But the real treat is the whole headliner area along with the pillars are black.

I like M wheel more than regular sport one. That's the reason I got M-sport package.

Very happy with M-Sport package on the 128i Cabrio. Love the steering wheel and shift knob (6MT), although the wheels you get with the package on the 135 will be more attractive than the ones on the 128i (which is why I'm getting aftermarket CSLs for it). Car handles and looks great - go for it!

You should definitely give them a good test, as I'm 5'9 and 190 and felt as much as I really liked them they weren't going to work for me in the long. But there's a lot of variables in there other than height and weight. I should have switched to light beer 20 years ago....

230 5'9.... sports seats fit awesome... went down to North Carolina last week, 10 hours each direction. Comfortable the entire time. I can't imagine these seats being uncomfortable unless you are a super heavy or an older guy with a bad back.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention I got the 128, and the package includes different things (and is less of a price jump from the Sport package) on the 135. The black headliner would've been cool but I couldn't justify the extra cost.

Wish you were in Jersey, I'd buy those M-Sport rims off you.

This is a silly question...when an M sport Pkg is offered on a vehicle, you get it...end of discussion.
