2008 335i TPMS compatible in 2011 M3

I want to put my VMR VB3 wheels from my 2008 335i on my new 2011 M3. Just wondering if the TPMS is the same and compatible with the 2011 M3. I'd tried searching and did not come up with any results. Thanks in advance for your feedback

No they will not work, 2010-2011 had a different model TPMS. 2008-2009 will NOT work, you will have to get new TPMS.

Yep, 2 completely different systems. Older one ('08/'09) has receivers on each wheel well (4), and new system just a central one inside the car. No way an old sensor reaches that far. Can't tell them apart from the stem on the wheel, but assume sensors themselves are shaped differently to avoid confusion. Good luck.
