Don't take any chances of the oem plastic pipe breaking at the throttle body coupler. Replace it with this very robust ER unit.

If this removes the baffles from the pipe then does this improve the DV sound?

I assume there's still no way to upgrade the factory DVs to a BOV...

There is baffle on the N55 CP, but some restriction is removed. You may get a slight increase in sound.

so ive been reading about these. im close to full bolt on's minus an LSD. legitimately, has this made a difference in peoples rides from a HP point of view? besides a small increase in sound, and reducing the potential for the stock CP popping off at WOT, is it really worth it? sell me on it and you'll most likely have another sale.

If you are looking for hp and tq gain, this is not going to get you any. This item will increase throttle response and reduce turbo lag, however.

This N55 pipe will accommodate additional boost and allow for meth to be install through the FREE meth bung we provide. In addition, this unit is more reliable and not likely to pop off or break.
