DCT upshift

Has anyone experienced the following:

In full MDM mode, making a bit of progress

, and when upshifting using the paddles say from third to fourth the box changes to fourth but then immediately goes up to fifth?

Software issue or mechanical ?

If it does it using the stick as well as the paddles then it sounds like S/W but if its only using the paddles then its probably mechanical.
