Effect of new software update on various tunes?

So I was considering the JB+ and just read that the new software update just completely voids it. I was wondering what the effect of this new upgrade is on the other tunes out there for the N55.. JB, Procede....

Need to take my car in for the 1 year free oil change next month and I'll need to have it upgraded since it's a mandatory recall...

I don't think the JB+ N55 is available from BMS, the beta group is full. I did install it (JB+) on my 1er and it gave decent power gains, but felt unpredictable and shifts on the DCT were all over the place. I decided to upgrade to the JB3 N55 and so far have been very impressed. Power comes on smoothly, turbo lag is greatly reduced, and throttle respose is excellent. The build date for my car is 1/2011 so it's possible I have the new software already running. I will say that Terry at BMS is great to deal with, if you have any questions ask him, he will get back to you quickly.
